Prashant Damle is on the Advisory Board of the EMS2010 and will help us to put together an entertaining and culturally rich program. Prashant himself will also be present on the EMS2010 stage.

He is a versatile Marathi actor who has acted in numerous Marathi dramas, movies and television serials for over 15 years. His drama Gela Madhav Kunikade set records by having more than 1200 shows, and is still running.

नाटक, सिनेमा, दूरदर्शन मालिका आणि जिंगल्सचा बादशहा म्हणुन सुप्रसिद्ध असलेले एक मराठी नाव अशोक गोविंद पत्की. आज प्रथितयश संगीतकार अशोक पत्की असे आवर्जून घेतले जाते. मुंबईत गिरणगावात मध्यमवर्गीय कुटुंबात त्यांचा जन्म झाला. शालेय शिक्षण म्युनिसिपालटी शाळेत झाले.
कॉलेज शिक्षण संगीतामुळे झाले नाही. वडील मिलमध्ये नोकरीला होते. आई इंदौरमधील जज्जांची मुलगी. तिच्या माहेरात संगीत होते. बहिणीस गोड गळा होता. इतकीच संगीताची पुंजी पत्कींच्या घरी होती सिनेमातील गाण्यांच्या वेडापायी डोअरकिपर होण्याची इच्छा पत्कींची होती.
