EMS2010 – European Marathi Sammelan 2010
The 8th edition of the European Marathi Sammelan will be held in Switzerland. The European sammelan is held every two years in a different European city and is usually organized by the local the Marathi Mandal.

In 2010 the Marathi Mandal Switzerland (www.marathimandal-switzerland.com) will be organizing the EMS from the 23rd-25th July 2010. These dates were chosen considering the summer vacations for major European countries. It is our endeavor to make EMS2010 children friendly and thus attract as many young families as possible. We will be organizing baby sitters so that parents can enjoy the entertainment programs.

Previously the EMS was held in Holland (twice), Germany, Switzerland, U.K., Norway and France. Over the years the EMS has grown and gained a lot of popularity not only in Europe but also in Israel, Russia, USA, Australia and India. We have an increasing number of participants from all these countries.
